“I Do” Booth at Victoria Pride
Five couples were married at the “I Do” Booth at Victoria Pride on July 12. All Seasons officiant Cecilia Penner was one of the organizers and happily conducted the weddings, a few with upwards of 100 Pride festival-goers in attendance.
“It was a wonderful day,” she reported. “It was only made possible because a lot of folks worked consistently for a very long time to pull the whole thing together.”
Each couple had a short wedding ceremony, complete with fabulous drag queen flower girls (Honey Dew Me and Henrietta Dubet), professional photography, and celebratory touches like décor, florals, and a bubbly toast. They also received a bottle of Temperance and a complimentary cider flight from Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse; a 4-inch funfetti cake from Darling Cake Co.; and a one-night stay at any Hotel Zed location.

“Watching each couple celebrate their love in a way that felt true to them was utter magic,” she said. “It was about removing barriers, celebrating love, and creating a space where everyone felt seen, welcomed, and supported.”
The couples thoroughly enjoyed themselves – each with a different vibe.
“Cecilia officiated our ceremony and she was absolutely extraordinary,” said Azza Rojbi. “From our first call with her, we felt immediately at ease. Standing in a public park in the middle of Pride, surrounded by our community, she made the moment feel both intimate and magnificent. Thank you Cecilia, and thank you All Seasons Weddings for donating your services to such a meaningful event.”
Event coordinator, Linda Newcomb of Fêtes by Linda said, “Hosting these pop-up weddings at Pride feels like the perfect amalgamation of all my passions and values and I’m so excited that this dream is able to become a reality.”
