Melissa originates from Kitchener-Waterloo, but now calls Aylmer, QC home where she lives with her spouse, son, and their black cats. She stays active in her community by volunteering with the food centre and rescuing cats. She loves travelling and swimming. Licensed in both Ontario and Quebec, Melissa has been performing wedding ceremonies and life celebrations since 2012. The process was great. We picked Melissa Weigel Kulick because she lives in our city, and we thought we had more in common with Melissa with that. She also had a good biography. We got to talk on the phone before meeting, and she was just as nice in person. I had mentioned to Melissa that if I get to the altar before the part of my song was done, to wait, and she did. Melissa Weigel Kulick met with us about 2 months prior to the wedding date and reviewed the details of the ceremony with us. She let us know what components of the ceremony were mandated by Quebec law to be said and then also let us know which sections were open to modification.
