It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since Tim officiated our wedding! ❤️ We honestly couldn’t have picked a better person for the job. We first got to know Tim De Jonge through our work at the hospital, and over time, he’s become a good friend to both of us. He did an amazing job of taking our ideas and beliefs and bringing them to life in a ceremony that truly reflected who we are, all while maintaining the professionalism that made the day so special. Tim made both us and our guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and included. We feel very fortunate to have had not only a wonderful officiant but also a friend standing with us on such an important day in our lives. We found Tim De Jonge by chance. Something about him really registered as warm. When we had our first visit with him, he came prepared to answer any and all questions. He took us through the timeline of the day step by step, the kinds of vows we might like to share, and how we could hybridize certain aspects of our ceremony with traditional elements and special touches. Tim was so professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and he made us feel at ease about the process. He took it upon himself to learn more about us as a couple, our love for nerdy things, and the little inside jokes that were so special to us. We had the pleasure of his company for our rehearsal. He led us through a couple of run-throughs to get us used to how we'd enter as a procession, prompted us for vows, and spoke eloquently and gently. On the day of, Tim was on time and worked well with the MC (our DJ) to adjust some things last minute. He made everyone feel welcome and led a beautiful ceremony. It is a day I will always remember, with vows that moved us to tears and a feeling of happiness throughout the entire day. Keath and I are very grateful to Tim for sharing in our special day. He is well versed with public speaking and using a microphone. Tim is a very kind soul. From sending us tie options that he would wear to our wedding to listening to our wishes for the day, you can tell that officiating these ceremonies is more than a job for him and that he cares deeply about how your ceremony and wedding day go.
