Maysha Townsend

Born and raised in Brockville, Maysha is a down-to-earth, inclusive officiant who believes wedding ceremonies should feel honest, personal, and full of heart --not stiff or overly scripted. She loves working closely with couples to bring their story to life in a way that feels natural, meaningful, and true to who they are.

Maysha acquired her B.A. from Carleton University in Criminology and Psychology and has passionately worked with people ever since. Maysha loves to write creatively and has a deep appreciation for human connection and the moments that shape us. She's passionate about community and proudly organizes annual slo-pitch fundraisers to give back, while also coaching fastball and offering pitching clinics to young athletes finding their confidence and strength. 

When she's not officiating or on the field, you'll likely find Maysha outdoors hiking, biking, or kayaking -- or travelling and exploring new places with her wife and their two dogs. Maysha is here to help couples, no matter their background, craft the wedding ceremony of their dreams and is genuinely excited to add meaning, intention, and a little magic to each couple's vision.
