Luella brings a warm, upbeat and down-to-earth presence to every ceremony. Working in the wedding industry since 2023 and managing the Ottawa Wedding Chapel, she knows how much the little details matter and loves helping couples create a ceremony that feels natural, personal and completely their own. Bilingual in English and French, Luella is happy to conduct ceremonies in either language or a combination of both. When she’s not celebrating love stories, you’ll usually find her at the gym, working on a handstand or trying a new aerial trick.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding day! The chapel itself and the surrounding town are incredibly charming, giving us the exact intimate, laid-back, and unfussy feel we were hoping for while still being absolutely beautiful and affordable. Seeing our names on the custom sign outside when we arrived was such a thoughtful touch that instantly made the experience feel deeply personal. The garden area out back was another highlight, offering tons of wonderful space and gorgeous backdrops for our photo opportunities. A special thank you to our officiant, Luella, who was extremely lovely and presided over such a moving, touching ceremony that we and our guests will treasure forever. Everything was very easy. Luella Antonin was fantastic when it came to drafting our vows and making sure they matched in length & sentiment. She answered our emails with questions and clarifications regarding the wedding logistics very quickly and clearly.
