Rev Leanna MacLeod made herself available to meet with us in person twice before the actual wedding day. She was open to working with us to customize our ceremony and gave us guidance about the elements involved in writing our own. She was flexible and open to incorporating elements from various traditions, including a last minute change to add a horseshoe to the event. We have mentioned this service already to a few of our friends. Leanna has such calm and grounded energy. She was a perfect match for us. As a Mi'kmaq elder, she incorporated some of her traditional practices into the ceremony and was also able to connect well with our guests who come from many different backgrounds and persuasions. She was the perfect celebrant for our wedding. We're so fortunate to have found her.
