Rev Laurence McKenna, MDiv (St. Michael's), ThM (Toronto)

As an Ordained Minister with Clergy Support Memorial Church, I believe that each couple planning their wedding should have the ceremony they desire.  I have worked as a teacher, youth minister, and as chaplain in hospitals, prison, and schools. Originally from Vancouver, I now live in Cambridge, in the Galt district.  I am a creative person who will do the utmost to incorporate your ideas into your personalized wedding ceremony.  I have presided at over 300 weddings, facilitated groups, helped with motivational speaking, and thoroughly enjoy working with people from various beliefs and lifestyle choices.  To this day I still enjoy working with kids, running youth drama programs, teaching drama skills and putting on performances.  I look forward to being part of a day you will remember for years to come.

We had the privilege of having Laurence as the officiant on our wedding day. He exceeded our expectations from the very beginning. He was extremely organized and prepared throughout the whole process. He helped us a great deal to organize the ceremony to the way we wanted it. He would give us options for different parts throughout the ceremony and would help us in our discussions to decide what we wanted to do. During the ceremony he was extremely personable, funny, and compassionate. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how wonderful the ceremony was and how great Laurence was at leading it. We would highly recommend Laurence as your officiant for your wedding day! Traynor & Nicole September 2020
