Shawn lives an active life in Port Hope with her partner Keith, skiing, cycling, and paddling. They have two adult children who are a big part of their lives. In the past Shawn has served in hospitals and health units in the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge and Durham Region. She enjoys being a Designated Minister and is an experienced speaker and an effective listener. Shawn is deeply committed to make your wedding ceremony a special and unique occasion, and looks forward to meeting with you to talk about your special day.

I heard about Shawn woods on a Facebook page when someone had asked about a wedding officiant they’d used and liked. We eloped, and it was an easy, quiet evening with just myself, my husband, our officiant (she brought her daughter and husband as our witnesses) and a photographer. It was exactly what we wanted.
