Brigitte Samson was simply incredible. We did extensive research into officiants and we had her at the top of our list. Her vibe seemed to fit ours and she was incredibly well reviewed. All of the reviews were 100% accurate. Brigitte gave us the full “tour” of what to expect both the day of the wedding and the paperwork side of things. We met with her to go over everything and we could tell how experienced she is. She made us feel very comfortable and took care of all the paperwork (minus the marriage license which has to be obtained by the ones getting married - but she walked us through the process there too). She gave us tips for the day itself which ended up being very useful. We both were very emotional during the ceremony, but Brigitte’s experience and steadiness got us through those more delicate parts. "Brigitte Samson was absolutely fantastic. We could not have asked for a better person to marry us. She had our vows printed in our own colour so that we knew which was ours. She told us when to look up for a picture and when to address the audience. She addressed the audience many time and had everyone going. There is no time to think about anything but the person standing in front of you and I've never felt more confident that we were in the right hands. She handled the paperwork after signing, another thing we didn't think about but so glad we didn't have to! She was so helpful leading up to the wedding, reminding us of all the little details we needed to consider like the five songs required for a ceremony, not just the aisle song. She gave us a reasonable week in advance deadline to submit our vows and reading (of our choice!) Which was extremely smart because we may have never got those done. It poured rain all morning which taught us to roll with the punches and when Brigitte started the ceremony, the microphone got messed up and clearly the experience she has is undeniable as she seamlessly did a mic drop and just spoke a little louder. She is so articulate and clear and did the exact ceremony we wanted. Half hour, casual, a little funny and a little serious. She also had no issue at all with our pups being ring bearers. We put a lot of thought into picking our officiant. We needed someone who was flexible and could roll with the punches, someone with a good sense of humor, well spoken and fluently bilingual. Soon after we started talking on the phone we clicked and we booked Brigitte (Samson) right away. Brigitte Samson was our wedding officiant and day-of wedding coordinator. We were very happy with her services. She was amazing to work with! Every meeting with her was productive. From the first minute we met with Brigitte Samson, we knew that she would be the perfect officiant to perform our wedding! She was kind, funny, personable and was able to gauge our personalities right away. Through all our meetings she was knowledgeable, patient and understanding of our stress. When we decided to write our own vows she gave us some examples and helpful hints to follow. On the day of the wedding she arrived on time, and looked stunning! We would recommend Brigitte Samson as your wedding officiant without reservation. We are residents of Ontario, who requested her services in January, for an outdoor ceremony in Quebec in May. Brigitte was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced; she gave us insightful counsel throughout our process, which turned out to be quite challenging. A week before our ceremony, our original destination was closed due to snow. Brigitte helped us pivot. Incredibly, on the day of our ceremony, our second location was closed due to flooding. Brigitte adapted and advised us through all these unforeseen changes; a rudder and guiding light as we navigated our way to a wonderful wedding with warm family memories.
